Jonas works with the Georgian Armed Forces to hunt down a militia. But Jonas gets captured and his held prisoner. Col. Ryan deals with politics back at home and the special interest groups are making really hard for the unit to operate. Jonas is left on his own without any hope of rescue. It's a really exciting episode. Back at the base, Tiffy needs to deal with someone who accused her of getting someone almost killed with a little help from Col. Ryan's wife. It's a really exciting episode. The writers came up with a good episode, the scenes were well directed.moreless
  • Great show professional and personal!

Tiffy is way in over her head as she is

In hot water and has legal expenses as Col Ryan's

New wife will help her out. Meanwhile Col Ryan is trying to get out Jonas as he is being tortured and beaten up. Though Col Ryan hasn't been one of my favorite characters lately, in as sense, he has made me change my mind about him. He cares about his men despite being a jerk at times.moreless
  • Decent, Deception, Underhand dealings, and that was just the lawyer getting Tiffy off the hook.

Jonas is captured by Chechn rebels whilst on a mission in Chechnia, they video tape his capture and release a statement that Jonas will be killed unless the USA release a Chechn prisoner in exchange, Col. Ryan and the Unit must act fast before Jonas is put to death.

On the home front Tiffy is facing jail time for covering for the Col. Wife for the accident she caused, Kim tell’s her she should confess and drop Mrs Ryan in it but Mrs R has other plans ( for the sake of the Unit ), she hire’s a top notch lawyer to plead her case and to get her off with a lesser sentence.

Back at command centre Col. R, Bob and Mack put a plan into action to take the Chechn prisoner as requested in exchange for Jonas but they are stopped in there tracks by political redtape, therefore they must go to a plan B and other the rebels the next best thing.

I’m not going to post any spoilers in case no one has watched this episode but I assure you that you wont be disappointed.

What I liked about this episode was that it did not focus on one particular incident and had something for everyone.

By far the best episode from this wonderful series.moreless
  • Jonas is captured & tortured by a terrorist Chechian faction. Col. Ryan, clever as ever, devises a plan for a "substitute" prisoner in exchange for Jonas. Ryan's wife, footing all legal expenses, has her own high-powered lawyer represent Tifmoreless

Jonas is captured by terrorists thus prompting a video taped message from Jonas stating their demands to include prisoner exchange. When the original plan goes south, Jonas' life hangs in the balance as political red tape & events continue to mount. Col. Ryan formulates Plan B--substitute choice #1 with choice #2-a renegade the terrorists want just as badly. Tiffy appears in court faced with the vehicular charges. Its Col. Ryan's wife's attorney at Tiffy's side who plea deals for her. GREAT EPISODE! The torture scenes were incredibly realistic! I had to watch it through my fingers!AWESOME AS ALWAYS!!moreless

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Goof: Jonas said "Bismillah" (In the name of God) when Dima gave him a bread. Commonly used as a pray to start something, it is quite weird when putting in this context. The common expression when receiving something should be "Alhamdulillah" (Thank God).

    • Nitpick: The cut on Jonas' check swaps between being bloody and puffy during his escape.

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Jonas: Is that the real guy?
      Mack: What?
      Jonas: The real Zjhokar?
      Mack: Real as rain.
Jonas: The man was Bin Laden fifteen years ago. What are you doing handing him back?
Mack: It's what the other side wanted for Christmas.
Jonas: The State Department know about this?
Brown: No, but the Air Force does.
      Mack: Left them a present.
(They watch as a missile takes out the terrorists' jeep)
Jonas: He didn't believe in Christmas anyway.

    • Commander Shelov: Why did Georgian forces and your American government work together? Perhaps you tell me.
Jonas: Friend, I'm no policy-maker. I'm a soldier sent here to look for terrorists. (looks up at Shelov) Seen any?
      [Shelov tasers Jonas]

    • Ryan: (to Krinsman) I've got my friends, sir. I am perfectly content to have you as an enemy.
