Ratings were respectable for the premiere and episode 2 at 9 million. This pretty much represents the show's core fan base. What's missing are the 8 million viewers from last season who we picked up from NCIS.
The show is not going to be canceled. We are only 2 episodes into Season 4. There are about 20 more to go.
Overnight ratings are measured two ways:
1. Nielsen houses with meters.
2. DVR recorded show watched by 3 am same night it was recorded. (really a stupid way to measure the ratings)
That being said, it's quite possible that there are viewers who don't know the show changed nights and time. I've been posting this info since I learned of it. But I'm sure I missed quite a few.
