Posing as an South African dealer/businessman Jonas track's down the middleman who will take him to his plutonium dealer and preferable who's responsible for the near assassination of the president-elect, however Jonas gets himself involved with a Russian girl and her friend who are being kept against there will as a sex slaves.

Back home Tiffy is starting her job as a high school teacher but a sexual predator has his eye on Tiff and Lissy plus Kim starts as a nanny for a family, however could there be more than meets the eye with the husband.

Not as good as the first two episode but a solid one all the same which is continuing the theme we've had since the start of the new season, not sure what to make of Kim Browns new employer, is he a unit member testing her or is he a terrorist.... Watch this space.moreless

A touching, action packed, well acted episode. The title says it all or does it? The title threw me off what the hell "Sex Trade" it doesn't sound like something the Unit meddles with then you see that the episode had to with smuggling of plutonium. Petrov is a scumbag seller dealing plutonium. Dragan is the middleman who is doing the deal for it. However, others are also interested as in bad guys with guns. Colonel Ryan meanwhile tries to get as much information from a corrupt doctor who was poisoned by the plutonium (Plutonium causes radiation poisoning).

The Unit is of course prepared for any situations. They are well armed. Jonas leads the pack as he poses as a buyer for plutonium and sex to get the seller, Petrov. Things go well until Petrov demands more for what he is selling. We also got two sidestories with Tiffy and this student named Josh. An eighteen year old punk who sees Tiffy as a MILF. Tiffy does the right thing and turns him down, but the guy won't take no for an answer. He threatens to blackmail her unless she or her daughter have a good time with him. Tiffy has committed adultery and done some bad things but here she actually redeems herself very well. She and daughter take care of the scumbag in a really funny climax. The other story has Kim being hired by a man who may not be who he claims to be. This wasn't resoled like the Tiffy one so it will be interesting to see where that leads.

Unfortunately, not as pleasurable climax for Jonas. Jonas gets close with one of the girls, Dava, who is forced into the sex trade. She also tells him about her friend, Nadia, who also like her came to Kosovo to become models. However, Dragan, took them both as his property.

We also see the importance of having Bridgett Sullivan in the team. Bridgett uses her powers of beauty to put a couple of the bad guys in vulnerable situations for the team to neutralize them. Later, she helps with the survellance of the buyers of the plutonium. I know people who don't like the new character but she's been good so far. The episode was great overall. A lot of the character in this episode were in many vulnerable situations which made this episode very interesting till the end. I especially liked Dennis Haybert as Jonas here. You get used to the guy acting so tough but he still is a man with a conscious on him. I mean the girls were collateral damaged. They weren't part of the mission really so Jonas didn't have to try to help them. The fact that he tried and took it personally shows he really does care about innocent people getting hurt in missions. A sticky, real situation that took a lot of good timing and decision making. Everybody is great but I love these episodes where they are going undercover. Sadly we didn't get a happy ending for tidbit, but the Unit did what they had to get the job done.moreless

This time it showed more of the men I think. It seems that the men get the action and brawns stuff. And the women always get the dramatic stuff. If you really stop and think about it. We see that the team sees that one smugglar, isn't just doing drugs. But also smuggling women and using them as prostitutes like. Then, we see that Tiffy gets into some trouble with a young student, trying to make a pass at her daughter. What will be played all season long is, what will happen. Since the team found out about Tiffy and the Colonel. That should be something.moreless

  • The Unit tries to buy plutonium.

    "Good"
After two stellar episodes this season The Unit was bound to have one that was not so great. Unfortunately it came a little earlier than expected, but it was still an entertaining edition. We saw Jonas understand the sacrifices needed to being in The Unit and that sometimes thousands of lives are more important than four. Back home we saw Tiffy get into trouble with an aggressive young student and Kim find out that her new boss is aware of everyone's covers.

This episode came off as a little fillerish, but seeing Jonas in a club was good for a cheap laugh. The stuff with the women was pretty boring, and even in the field the action was not as great as the past few weeks. The Unit is still doing very well in its 4th season but they are capable of better episodes than this.moreless
