  • my third episode to watch, and it was amazing, i was already getting hooked on the show, but i think this episode snagged me in for good...

very realistic, both in the field and on the home front

everything from the wife getting screwed over to bob not wanting to sign the papers for fear of "juju" to the fight scenes to the box in the locker was excellent and believable and i was innvolved emotionally with the characters the whole show

the grief was very real, and bob's struggle with death/letting kim down

i loved seeing the team work together, covering each other, and doing it all in such perfect fashion--as if they know they can trust their lives on each other and they know exactly what the other person will be doing bc they work so well together(i know its tv, but ive seen relationships like this in real life and they capture this relationship perfectly)

like i said, this was only my 3rd episode, but i am definitely hooked and cant wait for the next episode! very good show, and this episode was a great example of thatmoreless
  • Wow.. What can I say

This episode was by far one of my favorites. It had some of the best action I have see in the show yet. The entire show has improved vastly in the second season. I don\'t know what to say other than WATCH this show. The actors are perfectly cast, the show has great writing, set design is awesome. I can\'t wait to see the rest of this seasons shows.
  • Sniping. Military wife grievances.. this is awesome.

Sniping, military wife grievances.. this is awesome. i really enjoyed the battles in this episode in particular. bounding overwatch, i\'m up he see\'s me i\'m down.. haha sounds stupid but that simple crap is so true to reality. it was also sad to see the little cracks in the military system screw over some of the families but things like this really do happen. i think they did a good job leaving most viewers wondering what was in the little box that said \"destroy if i\'m killed\" (i only say that b/c i was curious also) i can\'t wait for the next episode!moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • Goof: During Bob's conversation with Colonel Ryan at the shooting range, different camera angles show the ear plugs switch from hanging on one shoulder to hanging from both.

    • The team all carries the Mk. 12 Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle, it would be unlikely that a team of four operators would all carry a sniper rifle. On a standard four man scout/sniper team, two would act as scouts carrying an automatic rifle of some sort while two would be designated as the snipers.

    • At the end of the episode Bob signs the life insurance policy for Kim. However, it is very late at night and he is alone in the kitchen when he does this. Most life insurance policies, or any form of that manner and importance, would require a notary and/or witness to be present in order for the signature to be considered valid.

    • Goof: When Bob is getting ready to shoot the chicken, he unhooks the strap to his rifle twice from his shoulder.

  • QUOTES (4)

    • (A trainee misses the blue chicken he was aiming for in shooting practice.)
Bob: The Nazis got your mom.
Trainee: (nodding head) Do it like my life depended on it.
Bob: No, I want you to do it like my life depended on it. As one day indeed it may.
(Bob Brown stands up and shoots the blue chicken the trainee was aiming for.)

    • (Jonas shoots the enemy leader)
Jonas: Yeah, I bet that hurt.

    • Annette: (To Bob) I was with Billy four years, I know what you do, how you do it. Can you get my kids back? Huh? Can you give me some rough justice?

    • Brown: As it says in the Bible. ' Harm no chicken but thine own.'
