Elliot Ness and his G-Men start to notice that all the big mob bosses are leaving town, which traditionally means that a big hit is about to take place. But Ness has no idea that he is the target.

Narcotics are flooding into Chicago from the south so Eliot Ness decides to impersonate a recently killed jazz musician in order to find the source of the drugs in New Orleans.

As mob boss Frank Argos lays dying, a massive search is started for his long lost and estranged son to take over the business and inherit millions. Only it seems that the son apparently was killed in WWII.

Mob boss Ed Monte orders the death of his own son-in-law, only to find out too late that the threat to his life wasn't that simple.

When rival gangs go after the same bootleg alcohol, Ness attempts to use one gang against the other to grab the booze and the hoods, discovering that there is honor among thieves...sometimes.

Small time crook Johnny Mizo is wanted by everyone: his former crime boss from whom he embezzled $200,000; the Brazilian mob who wants the $200,000 or they'll kill him; his nephew who thinks half the money is his; and Eliot Ness.

A World War I hero organizes a sadistic ring of thugs to offer "protection" to the city's butchers from the mob.

One of Ness's men, a former criminal turned legit, is having trouble resisting the call of several million dollars, which would burn the man who gave him another chance.

It looks like Victor Salazar's time as a top hood is running out, especially since one of his boys is planning a double-cross and another of his henchmen is actually an undercover agent.

With alcohol legal again, the syndicate concentrates on illegal drugs and Ness and team take on the task of stopping the flow of the much wanted narcotics.

When a jazz club that only sells coffee gets pressure to sell illegal booze, then shot up when the owner refuses, Ness captures the shooter and goes after his boss.

Ginger Jake poisoning is at an all time high, with thousands afflicted from drinking the rotten alcohol. Ness sets out to break the back of the organization that is causing this disaster.

It was not always the big mobsters that sold hootch on the streets. Sometimes it was a one-bottle-at-a-time bootlegger like Jackson Parker who sold his wood alcohol on school campuses. But after many students got terribly ill or died, Ness goes after Parker and his new "partner" Nitti.

The case of a body found in Lake Michigan being investigated by police Lt. Stewart and a million dollar shipment of illegal booze coming in from Canada begin to weave together for Ness and the local cop.

In order to put a crimp in Jake Guzik's monopoly of being the top booze supplier in Chicago, Ness goes into the supply business himself only to run afoul with District Attorney Beecher Asbury who reads Ness the riot act for "subverting the law to uphold it."

A gunfight in the street apparently was in reality a murder attempt on a passing Chicago newspaper reporter who tells Ness he was about to reveal things in an article that "would tear this town wide open."

After a career police officer is suspended for roughing up a mobster, he and his brothers decide to strike back at the mob and make a lot of money at the same time by kidnapping hood Tony Lamberto and hold him for ransom.

Ness never makes deals with hoods, but when a dying gangster makes a last request for Ness to find his missing daughter in exchange for all the information on his organization, Ness starts the search for the girl.

Right after the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, Ness and his men are scouring Chicago, looking for Bugs Moran. If Ness can get to Moran first, maybe he'll talk and he might just be mad enough to give them the information they need.

Unknown to him, the pets of a mobster's wife have infected her, him and are threatening all of Chicago unless Ness can find the mobster and arrest him for a drive-by shooting he ordered.

The rumor of a incriminating "book" causes a mob wanna-be to play a dangerous game with the syndicate and Eliot Ness.

It's 1932 and with 12 million people out of work, there's not much money to spend on booze which is causing the syndicate to come up with creative ways to make more money, like creating an artificial shortage of liquor to drive the prices even higher.

By mid-June 1932, Eliot Ness and his Untouchables have uncovered and shut down every champagne-producing operation in the city. But now, four months later, champagne has appeared again in the fashionable Westside nightclubs, forcing Ness into raids again.

Joe Lassiter is known as the greatest inside man in the bootlegging racket. He and his sidekick, Nick Karabinos, have just arrived in Chicago by train, traveling 1,000 miles with a mission: build a Ness-proof brewery.

An old acquaintance of Eliot Ness' is shot dead while performing as Santa Claus for children. Ness won't stop until Hap Levinson's killer is found, even if it means calling in the team on Christmas Eve.

To improve the quality of their illegal alcohol, the mob has started to import master brewers from Germany and smuggling them over the Canadian border. Ness learns of this from a dying gangster and sets out to stop the flood.

Nitti calls for a gang war against Bugs Moran and the weeks following result in the bloodiest in Chicago history, ending in the St. Valentine's Day Massacre. Ness must stop the violence before more innocent people are killed.

With prohibition over with, the mob moves it's attention to narcotics. This doesn't lower the violence in the city of Chicago and Ness turns his focus on stopping the supply line of drugs.

Three months of intensive investigation is paying off for Eliot Ness as they have "Smiley" Barris cornered in an upper floor of an Eastside tenement. Barris is apprehended but before he can talk, a sniper's bullet takes him out, leaving Ness with a busted investigation and back at square one.

Only the mob would think of using a soup kitchen as a front for white slavery. But this is Chicago and gangsters will do anything to make money, as Eliot Ness knows only too well.

Starting with licenses for the lucrative eating franchises at the upcoming Chicago World's Fair, mobsters are soon killing each other off or setting one another up to get hold of those licenses. All the while, Ness is sued for slander against a mobster as the body count rises.

Ness goes after Pete Kalmisky, Capone's former bodyguard, and Alan Sitkin, who form a partnership with railroad man Joey December to smuggle Canadian booze into the country on his trains.

Slot machines are big business. Two years prior, Ness had run the slot machines, then run by Augie Viale, out of Chicago. Now the slots are back and Ness must start all over again.

With booze legal, the racket czars step up their dealings in narcotics. Maggie Storm runs the 808 Club and she's the featured entertainer. But the mob wants her to start selling drugs in her place. In steps Ness but he doesn't scare the syndicate.

Victor Rait is a Chicago drug lord who likes danger. This danger is about to reach out and affect a whole lot of lives, including those belonging to Eliot Ness and the Untouchables.

Ness and crew are called in to work what would be known as The Great Train Robbery, where two men are murdered during the heist of $750,000 worth of payroll in the mail.

Ness cracks down on the producers of "near beer", a .5% beer that is legal to be sold, only usually when it's bought, it's back up to the full 4%. That's where Ness and the Untouchables come in.

When a new device makes results of horse races easier and quicker to deliver, the mob wants to get their hands on it quickly. Ness has to go undercover in San Francisco bust open the syndicate that is plotting to steal the race wire.

A comedian in a Chicago club who wants out of his association with the mob wants to help Ness put his boss away so he can go legit and hit the big time. But his dream on freedom is short lived and Ness goes after those responsible.

Nitti starts a war against those who are serving top line Canadian whiskey against his cheap rotgut. Ness must either arrest him or kill him before the streets are flooded with blood.

Big-time gangster Joe Palakopolous takes out Nitti's Canadian whiskey supplier and moves into a small Canadian coastal town to personally supervise the deliveries. While Nitti deals with Palakopolous, Ness sends in Agent Ned Ferber to work undercover and help take down the smuggling operation

The Syndicate goes after New York bakeries and sends Bull Hanlon to "convince" the biggest independent baker, Adam Stone, to sign up. Ness and his team try to convince Stone to rally the bakers against the mob but Stone plans to fight on his own.

Mobster Lou Mungo stages a hit on a federal agent fighting corruption bringing Eliot Ness and the Untouchables onto the case. To bring down Mungo, Ness must tie him to the murder.

When a tipster leads Ness to the location of Nitti's distilleries, Nitti brings in Walter Trager, "The Leaker", who tracks down and disposes of stoolies for good. However, Trager has plans of his own for taking over Nitt's mob...and Trager's widowed sister Billie has a scheme of her own too.

Ex-con Matt Bass and his partner Jason Fiddler approach Nitti with the perfect scheme to deliver illegal booze to central Chicago, and Ness sets out to break up the partnership.

By the Summer of 1933, a new wave of crime has engulfed Chicago and due to a public outcry for action, Willard Thornton is appointed as a new commissioner to clean up the town. But Thornton's appointment proves to be a "thorn" in Ness's side.

Nero Rankin is elected chairman of the Syndicate, but there are mobsters who aren't happy with his appointment. When Ness launches a national campaign against speakeasies, Rankin strikes back by ordering his men to gun down pedestrians and turn the public against Ness.

Melanthos Moon, San Francisco art dealer, puts together a scheme to make a near-perfect money plate and use stolen Government money paper to create counterfeit money, and then cut a deal with Nitti to distribute it.

As the end of prohibition looms on the horizon, the mafia shifts toward the sale of narcotics, with Eliot Ness flying to New Orleans where a major deal is about to take place.

Ness and team go to work after millionaire building contractor Thomas B. Randall is kidnapped and held for ransom by notorious gangster Lily Dallas.

Chemists working for the top crime boss try to find a way of re-naturing the legal de-natured alcohol that the government chemists say is unusable for booze. Ness and his team track the legal stuff hoping to find the source of the illegal and now expensive booze.

With Capone convicted of income tax evasion, DA Asbury heads to Washington to hopefully get a federal anti-racketeering bill passed before congress.

Eliot Ness heads to the New Jersey docks to serve an arrest warrant on rackets man Valentine Ferrar, who is coming in on a cruise ship from Cuba. Only the ship has caught fire and Ferrar is missing, allegedly having drown after jumping overboard.

Aiming to stop the bloodshed before it starts, Ness tracks an illegal shipment of "Ginger Jack" rotgut that is about to get hijacked by a rival crime boss.

With Al Capone in prison, other top crime bosses gather in a clandestine meeting in Chicago to plan on who will take over the syndicate, with Eliot Ness dangerously in the middle of negotiations.

Ness continues to battle the now split-in-two empire of Al Capone and it's respective crime bosses, an attack on a local newspaper's editor, and the manufacture of illegal silencers for guns.

"The Big Train" is about to disembark on a journey across country, carrying notorious gangster Al Capone on his way to serve time on "The Rock" in San Francisco Bay. Only Ness has learned of a plan to "rescue" Capone from the train and fly him to freedom.

Eliot Ness must find out who is really responsible for the robbery of a million dollars worth of negotiable securities from a U.S. mail train, where a postal clerk was shot.

Ness hits repeated setbacks as he tries to close down Otto Frick's traveling carnival, which is really just a front for moving illegal drugs around the country.

Ness and his team of agents travel to New York where mobster Larry Fay has taken over the milk business, jacking up the cost two cents per quart, and blowing up any establishment that doesn't want to pay his price.

Ness and company have set up a roadblock just south of the Canadian border with intentions of intercepting a convoy of trucks carrying 1,000 cases of Canadian Scotch. Only the trucks never reach Ness, having been hijacked by rival gangster Phil Corbin.

Ness is hit with a new racket by the Purple Gang: they kidnap other thugs and hold them for ransom. Since mobsters won't go to the police for help, they pay...and it's paying off big-time.

Even though Eliot Ness and his men have stemmed the supply of narcotics coming into the Windy City from Asia and southern Europe, the underworld is using new ways to supply the city's 5,000 dope addicts with their fix including robbing drugstores, doctors' offices, and wholesale drug houses.

Even though Eliot Ness has closed down the big drug operators, the mob has come back with a vengeance by using a large network of small time independent pushers. Ness goes to work amid the public cries to do something and do it quickly.

Mob boss Waxey Gordon is waging a gang war to eliminate rival gangsters for control of the New Jersey beer market, which brings Ness and his agents into what could turn to bloodshed in the streets if it's not stopped.

Gus Marco, legitimate businessman by day, has come up with a profitable sideline by night: he stills legal denatured government alcohol replacing it with water. This brings Ness and the boys into action.

With Capone's empire tottering, a big-time gangster from New York, Charlie "Pops" Felcher, has just arrived in Chicago to take over.

Now that prohibition had been repealed, the syndicate is looking for new sources of revenue. Frank Nitti decides to expand his empire and goes after small theaters with his extortion racket.

After such hard work by Ness on the Fortunato case, their chief witness against the mobster suddenly commits "suicide", sending Ness back to square one.

With prohibition repealed, the top mobsters are looking for other ways to make money so they decide to create their own bank.

Even with Al Capone's breweries and speakeasies smashed, thousands of gallons of alcohol are still coming into the city from an outside source. Ness heads to New York, and takes Enrico Rossi and Cam Allison with him to stop the leakage.

After a big prize fight brings in a gate of almost a quarter million dollars, one of the Granite Armored Cars, with 4 armed guards, drives off with the receipts only to be robbed by Doreen Maney and accomplices. Ness and team are on the case.

After convicted murderer Nick Segal is killed in prison to keep him from squealing, Ness has another convict transferred to Leavenworth to try and find out who was behind the murder, in exchange for early parole.

It's 1934 and prohibition is over. Yet Al Capone is still running his syndicate from prison, which includes prostitution and narcotics. Ness and his team now focus to shut down the organization completely.

With Mayor Cermak's increased crack down on Nitti's operations, the mobster decides it's time to stop it and put's a contract out on the official.

With prohibition about to be repealed, Capone starts working his organization into legitimate businesses. Ness and Cermak decide they have to work fast to keep that from happening before the upcoming world's fair.

At the moment, bank robberies are not a federal crime. But D.A. Beecher Asbury is going to do what it takes and goes to Washington to get that changed.

After newly elected Morraine, Illinois Mayor Marcus Stone and Sheriff Mooney are assassinated when they try to clean up crime, Governor Joseph Stone calls in Eliot Ness to find the killers and continue the crack down.

Elliot Ness targets gangster overlord Augie Viale, king of the southside of Chicago who, after bribing half of Chicago, starts to moving slot machines into the city.

Gangland warfare has broken out again with sudden violence in the streets of St. Louis, vying mobsters used to working the old way with gangsters who want to change to a new, "better" system. Blood flows in the streets as Ness goes after both sides.

When Paolo Rienzi, enforcer for Luigi Renaldo, the former lieutenant for Al Capone, works over account William Norbert, who wanted to retire from the rackets, Ness goes to work to try and get Norbert to turn over on Renaldo.

Omertà, the Mafia code of silence. Ness runs up against it over and over again as he tries to put the finger on mob leader Joe Bucco, even to Bucco's dying breath.

After gangster Frank Halloway escapes from federal prison, Ness goes after Halloway in hopes of discovering and shutting down the mob's "underground railroad" which stretches across the nation.

In the depths of the Great Depression, marked by unemployment and poverty, Ness tries to put a stop to the numbers rackets that the mob so efficiently market to the public as easy money, even if the only ones getting rich are the crooks.

"Lucky" Luciano is muscling in on Dutch Schultz' territory and Eliot Ness, on special assignment in New York City, sends an agent into the mob's organization in hopes of nailing Dutch Schultz on income tax evasion, just like he did Al Capone.

Eliot Ness gets assigned to investigate a rash of truck hijackings in the states of Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

As gangsters target the more than twenty-five million pounds of fruits and vegetables that stream into New York, Eliot Ness and his agents go on special assignment to investigate the produce market racket.

In the middle of a year long case against racketeer Theodore Newberry, the owner of gambling parlors, speakeasies and houses of prostitution, Ness gets framed for bribery which puts the case, and his career, in great jeopardy.

Dutch Schultz squares off against enemy mobster Vincent "Mad Dog" Coll in a all-or-nothing no-holds-barred winner-takes-all fight to the finish all centered around the Kentucky Derby.

As mobsters branch out from liquor into the numbers racket, call girls, gambling and dope, one of the most successful gangsters is "Big" Jim Harrington. As a takeover appears to be ready to happen, Ness sees his opportunity to turn one against the other, only no one is interested...at first.

When the son of Lawrence Halloran, president of the United Trucker's Union, is kidnapped to force mob infiltration, Ness gives some surprising advise on how to handle the situation.

After the mob kills a newspaper man, former hood Bill Hagen meets with Ness and says he'll give Ness information about the booze racket, if Ness finds out who killed Jake Lingle so Hagen can collect the reward.

Eliot Ness, along with Bill Youngfellow and Martin Flaherty, are closing in on Ma Barker, who is holed up in a house along with 2 of her sons, Lloyd and Fred. But as Ness yells for Barker to surrender, the notorious criminal is anything but willing to come out peacefully.

Eliot Ness and his team of federal agents have spent the last 18 months getting Capone behind bars. Now their job turns to figuring out who will take over the empty throne.
