Line Of Fire
AIRED:

Mob boss Jake Szabo is not happy with a young crook by the name of Pulaski. Even though he's been of use, the young man has the nasty habit of killing whoever he wants to, even Szabo's friends, and that has made the ganglord angry.

  • Where are the Untouchables?

Another episode that, like Charlie Argos, is tough to pigeonhole. You have a good script along with some good acting yet it's almost as though this episode was written for another cop show and adapted to clumsily fit The Untouchables. Speaking of the Untouchables it's almost as though they don't exist here. Robert Stack has about a minute and a half of screen time and Paul Picerni only a few seconds more. The load for the good guys is carried by Ford Rainey playing Lt. Roy Gunther of the Chicago PD.

Note: Line of Fire was the last episode of the series to be filmed. A Taste for Pineapple, the last episode to air, was filmed in mid-season and shelved until the season finale.moreless
