Pressure
AIRED:

With Prohibition over, the mob moves it's attention to narcotics. This doesn't lower the violence in the city of Chicago and Eliot Ness turns his focus on stopping the supply line of drugs.

  • The Bear, the Firecracker, and Lucky too

Decent script with a couple of particularly nasty villains. I wish veteran heavies Jack Elam and Warren Oates had been given more to do in this episode. Elam gets killed off early on and I thought Oates could have made a truly memorable Untouchables villain if he'd been given more screen time. Darryl Hickman and Collin Wilcox do well as lovers from feuding mob families but I thought Harold J. Stone was a bit over the top as lead villain, Louie Madikoff. Some decent suspense in this episode too. All in all, this one is okay but it fails to click at times thus lowering the grade.moreless
