  • A Little Bit Different

    9.0
Dan O'Herlihy's performance as bank robber Larry "Ace" Banner is one of the more memorable villains of the series and it's precisely because he's different than your usual Untouchables villain that he's so memorable. Banner is an intelligent, urbane, and cultured individual not your usual coarse thug who carries his rod underneath his shoulder blade. Unfortunately for Banner, he, like that coarse thug, is a thief at heart and his huge ego leads to his downfall. Ness uses Banner's own methods to trap and capture him.

The best scene in this episode is the robbery of the Midland Trust Bank. Like one of the witnesses later says it's like something out of a silent movie. Also of interest is that although Anthony George is billed in the ending credits he does not appear in the episode. Rico is the primary sidekick for Ness in this one.moreless
