  • Basically a rehash

    5.5
The Genna Brothers is basically a rehash of Season Two's Augie "the Banker" Ciamino and it was done better in the previous episode. In many ways this one combines the worst aspects of Seasons One and Four. You have the woeful historical accuracy of Season One to go along with the cartoonish villains of Season Four. Despite these flaws there are some good moments such as the opening scene when Rico confronts the bullying Genna brothers and the climactic shoot out when all goes South for them. Frank Puglia also gives a good performance as a respected member of the Italian community who finds the courage to stand up to the criminal Gennas. Still, despite these good moments, I found this episode to be flat overall.moreless
