Parts of this episode have a sort of surreal quality to them. Tony "Mops" Volpe and Gus Raddi, gunned down in a barber shop by Frank Nitti in The Empty Chair, appear once again in this episode only their names are Rosie and Sully. Plus you have the character of Louie Latito, previously seen in Nicky, appearing for the second and final time. Anyway, this is a good episode which deals with the struggle for power among Capone's minions after the Big Fella was sent away to prison. It also marks the second time that the Mob puts a contract out on Ness personally (the first was Season One's One Armed Bandits) and also shows Italians as sympathetic characters in the person of Gino Carabello, an Italian cab driver who is forced to do the bidding of Jewish mobster Nick Moses.moreless
