Most purists hate this episode. According to some this is where the Untouchables jumped the shark. Their reasons are many and most don't hold much water with me. TNTSSC is a grim, gritty, and unforgettable episode with excellent performances from guest stars Nita Talbot, Edward Asner, and Ruth White. Even if you don't like TNTSSC you won't soon forget it. Besides, can anyone truly hate an episode where Santa Claus is gunned down in full view of two orphan kiddies? I think not.moreless
