White Slavers contains perhaps the most shocking scene of the series when nine Mexican prostitutes are cold-bloodedly machine gunned by a gang of whites slavers in order to prevent them from talking to American authorities who are awaiting at the border. This scene had to be the most shocking ever aired on television up to that time (1960) and it's still quite disturbing when viewed today.

Future Bewitched star Dick York is cast against type as the younger brother of the lead villain. York's character, Ernie Torrance, actually has some morals and scruples, but not enough to keep from meeting a tragic and perhaps inevitable end. Betty Field also does a fine job as Mrs. Buchanan, a retired madame who wants to stay that way.moreless
