    tvbythenumbers overnight ratings (no DVRs):
.... outperformed last week's Life on Mars finale (2.1) ... only barely. The Unusuals' 18-49 rating couldn't be what ABC was hoping for, especially with a premiere...since lately typically things only go down from the premiere.

    6.84 million viewers
    18-40 demo rating/share: 2.2/6
    18-34 demo rating/share: 1.8/5

Competition: CBS CSI:NY (#1 viewers & demos), 12.52 mil & NBC Law & Order repeat. Ck out the link for more info.

What I think is really weird is that this show was on the list of shows that might get cancelled even before it aired. So if that's true, then ABC obviously doesn't care very much about ratings.

Predictions from the numbers guys is that this show isn't coming back. Too bad 'cause last night's episode was really good.

When this show first aired, I thought it was a real stinker. It suffered from what many pilots suffer from: trying too hard. This one is the wacky one; that one is the newbie; this one is the tough guy who turns out to have a heart of gold.

But for some strange reason, I stuck with it. And now I am really loving it. I really like most of the cast, particularly Walsh. I feel the storyline about Banks and his obsession with death has run its course and they need to move on. Delahoy needs something to do other than talk Banks "down off the ledge" every episode.

I feel Amber Tamblyn is the weakest link in this cast. She does not possess the gravitas that you want in a female detective. You want someone to be a little bit tougher, rougher around the edges. Maybe she is a little too young for this role. I liked Tamblyn in Joan of Arcadia, but I feel she is not seasoned enough for this show.

I think by far my favourite is Jeremy Renner. I really want him to be the focus of every show. I want to see where his character is going next. I think he is an excellent fit.

The storyline with Cole and Lutz was really good. It wrapped up well and I want to know what happens next with Cole, now that Walsh knows he knew who killed Kowalski and why.

It's a shame that this show is on the verge of cancellation. It has taken me two or three episodes to get into the characters and the stories, as is the case with most new shows. With all the season finales coming up soon, what would ABC have to lose running a show like this through the summer. Sure, it may not get the stellar ratings that ABC wants, but sometimes quality is more important than quantity. Man, what am I smoking? As if a studio would EVER buy into that idea.

Anyway, I am one of the small minority that wants this show to continue. Put me in the YES PLEASE column.

This show just keeps getting better - even if the numbers say otherwise!

I think it was a combination of the both. Everyone forgot about this awesome show. And everyone gave up on the show because ABC is evil and canceled. but people knew cancelation was coming - not because it's a bad show [cause it's an awesome show] but because it's on ABC, the worst advertising, most reality-show provoking televison station ever.
