Season 2 Episode 11

By the Light of the Moon

Aired Friday 8:00 PM Dec 09, 2010 on The CW

  • Trivia

    • Goof: When Tyler turns back into a human and Caroline goes to help him, she picks up a lamp. When she kneels down next to him she puts the lamp on the floor and it rolls over. Then camera shots to Tyler's face and back to the whole picture and the lamp is sitting straight.

    • Possible Goof: After Bonnie seals the door to Elena's house to prevent her from leaving, it sounds like she says, "It's for the best, Nina." That's the name of the actress, Nina Dobrev, who plays Elena, not the character.

  • Quotes

    • Elena: What?
Jeremy: Why are you on some suicide mission?
Elena: I'm trying to prevent everyone else from getting hurt.
Jeremy: (sarcastically) Oh, so bringing Klaus the moonstone so you can get yourself killed is okay?

    • Katerina: (scared) Elijah.
Elijah: Good evening, Katerina. Thank you for having the good sense to be frightened. (to Stefan) Your release has been requested.
      Stefan: What? By who?
Elijah: The lovely Elena drives a hard bargain. However, we reached a peaceful agreement, she and I. Please...come.
