Laura Ramsey as Elena and Steven Strait as Stefan -- I really liked these two in The Covenant

But I have no idea who would I like to see as Damon. Ben Barnes maybe? Trent Ford?

I like Nina Dobrev, but I agree that Brie Larson would be a great lead. She already has her own show anyway though.

Elena - Mackenzie Rosman (7th Heaven) or Magda Apanowicz (Andy, from Kyle XY)
Stefan - Penn Badgley (I know, I know, most couldn't live without GG)
Damon - Matt Czuchry (but he's a bit too old ) or Chris Olivero

I think Alexis Blendel would have made a great Bella Swan (with Channing Tatum playing Edward ), but this TV series cries out for new blood. The cast, as it is, except for Nina Dobrev, who has a great look and hopefully can act, is a bit rusty. Well, it's either this or the fact that Twilight (and I'm refering to the books) built up this image of beautiful and gracious vampires, which neither actor seems to be!
But maybe I'll be surprised! Hope so!

i love ian somerhalder! never heard of the other two, but they all seem good...besides with these shows, you don't really want somebody you're going to be constantly remembering fromother shows.
