To the person that says Elena should have told people about Damon; Huh? Who would believe her? Even the adults who know would deny it. For good reason. If Damon had to fight, and panic started lots of people would die. Stephan handling it is safest.moreless

Hard to protect anyone locked in a psych ward. But I can't stand Elensa lecturing, self righteous attitude. She tells Vicki and Damon what to do? Did someone elect her queen when I wasn't looking? She needs to stop feeling sorry for herself. Stop blaming people, and stop telling others what to do. Im tired of her whining. If she loves Stephan then she shouldn't blame him for the existence of vampires, or Damon's actions. He isn't responsible for either. And obviously its absurd to expect damon to feel bad for people dying. In any case, its lame of her to suggest it. Vicky's death is easily more Elena's fault then Damon's. She needs to take responsibility. Vicky had to die anyhow. This show is for kids. And in kid shows people who use drugs always die or come to a bad end. Btw, in reality drug users tend to be nothing like Vicky. They usually are adult professionals with money, not broke assed teenagers willing to put out for a whiskey and coke. The mayor and his wife seem like a perfect example, while the lady police chief seems like an alcoholic waiting to happen. But this is a kiddie show, so of course the teenagers with the weird hair are the chemical set. Im not going to sit around and watch elena play hard to get and watch Stephan try to win her heart. I have seen that one done a million times, and usually better. It always ends with the girl somehow becoming a vampire, but its never her fault. Its always circumstance, and the guy has to do it to save her. So she can still be a good girl, and whine about her morality and her humanity. Because, gosh, no one would want to live forever and never age. Uh huh.moreless

Okay, I thought this was definitely one of the best episodes yet, although I did have a little problem with them killing off Vicki so early. Oh, well. It had to happen eventually. What I Liked

1. That Elena reveals she still has feelings for Stefan at the end. That was nice, and gives us hope that they will eventually get back together, although that was already a given.

2. That we continue to get to see that Damon isn't the evil psychopath bad-doer that he appeared to be when we first met him. Although I don't want Elena and Stefan to date like they did in the book, I'm starting to really reallyy like the evolution of his character. I especially liked that scene where Stefan, Damon, and Elena were on Elena's front porch, and Damon offered to erase Jeremy's mind. Swweet.

3. That Damon erased Jeremy's mind so he'll forget about Vicki going all "vamp"" on he and Elena. I LOVE that, because now he can move on from Vicki, which will be a nice change in the story line.

Altogether, I thought this was a fantassstic episode, and can't wait for the next one with Stefan's old girlfriend Lexi? At least that's what it looked like in the preview. Definitelyyyyy interesting...moreless

CAUTION - MAJOR SPOILERS!

So in this halloween themed episode - Vicki is becoming a vampire and Stefan tries to help her. So Elena and Stefan try to keep Vicki away from everyone until they have her under control. Until Vicki gets away and Stefan and Elena have to try and find her to keep her away from Jeremy and Matt. Vicki goes to the Halloween dance with Jeremy, so Elena, Stefan, and Damon go to the dance to try and find Vicki and get her away from everyone. Vicki and Jeremy go away to make out and Vicki begins to get how do you say "vampirey" and Stefan, Damon and Elena come in and get Jeremy away from her and in an intense Climax, Vicki gets killed because she going crazy and was going to hurt all of them. Elsewhere, Bonnie gets Damon's necklace

A wonderful/intense episode. I don't understand the such low ratings for this episode here?

If you are not some girly teen with a crush on this recent vampire movies spree, rather a someone with a clear and open mind and good reasoning skills, you'll see what I've seen when I watched this episode.

I mean, Damon is the big bad and has killed a bunch of people in only 7 episodes. His brother, the boy scout, Stefan, who is a veggie, knows this and yet, he says he's took weak to do something about it.

I simply find it so annoying when heroes go "I'm not breaking my own code of honor! No way!" when people are dropping like flies and the guy could've helped, if he wanted to.

Just like Clark could've prevented Lex from doing so much damage if he were man enough to take the big step and kill one douchebag and save millions.

Come on Stefan, drink the damn human blood and stop your brother already. Every single one that has died in town is on you, man. This good boy routine of yours was worth a lot of people's lives, the football coach and even Zack, your great-great-great nephew (right?).

How comic was seing Stefan calling Damon for help, talking to him calmly, after everything he's done.. lol.. I mean, seriously? He can hurt, kill and in the next day, sit in a chair across the room, all chatty like nothing happened???? REALLY???

That episode was.. I am not sure.. I liked it, I mean, the main storylines. I love when things get hard and the usual "teenage" thing is left in the background and the main focus seems to be around the vampires, the history etc. I also liked that Elena's friend family heritage storyline is more in focus. I think that will get to be now the major development as Vici is quite.. done..

Not that i really liked that storyline of her. Not the " die so many times", but the way it affects everyone around her, specially Elena, her brother, Elena's brother.. And it really opened up something new on Damon too. Specially that "little act of kindness" in the end. That was little ironicmoreless
