Stefan and Damon find a common enemy and someone they deem to be a threat. Meanwhile, Elena confesses her love for Stefan and persuades him to stay in Mystic Falls, but she also makes a devastating discovery that adversely affects her relationship with him. Jeremy takes up drawing fantasy creatures again.

This show is definitely blowing me away. It's absolutely incredible. The writing is extraordinary and this episode was nothing but the most amazing thing I've seen. This show does not deserve to be on the CW, it deserves way better.

But this episode had a lot of things happening. --

Damon wants to get into the tomb to release Katherine, and finds someone who could possibly help him. Bonnie was attacked by Damon and Stefan saved her and Stefan is helping her cope with her being a witch. Jeremy's history teacher, Alaric Saltzman, is a vampire too and offers Damon help to get into the tomb.

And then the best thing about this episode that made this episode a 10/10 was Elena and Stefan. When Elena said "Stefan, I love you!" and then he walked back to her and kissed her! Aah! It was intense. and then they have sex. When they're done, Elena sees a picture of Katherine and runs out without Stefan knowing. Elena then gets in a car accident and sees a person come up from the ground and walk over to the cars and then.......... (black screen) "The Vampire Diaries".

Those Elena/Stefan scenes were soo amazing, I could watch that scene over and over again forever!!

This is an incredible show!!

Really good cliffhanger at the end!

Okay, so I really like this episode. And I really like how it's becoming darker, and really evolving every episode. The episode was good, but nothing really happened until the end except for Logan attacking Damon, and then kidnapping Caroline, and then getting into a fight with Damon, and then getting stabbed by Alaric (who is a vampire? or a vampire hunter? hmm... and i'm verrrry curious about what went down with his wife's murder, the "cold case." i have a feeling that mr. saltzman knows more than he's letting on...)

Anyway, I'm not so sure how I feel about Elena and Stefan sleeping together. I'm not sure why, but I just kind of have an issue with it. I think it was a little too early. Maybe if the characters had waited a little longer. I don't know. But I ReAALLY liked that Elena discovered the photograph of Katherine, freaked out, and ran away. And then that cliffhanger! WOW! Which vampire did she hit? Logan? Damon even? Alaric, if he is a vampire? I'm betting it was Alaric, because they won't kill Elena off, and if they turn her into a vampire, it's waay too early. I mean the tenth episode? C'mon.

But I really do like the character of Alaric Saltzman. A good male role model for Jeremy... a kindhearted (a.k.a. non-Logan) llove interest for Jenna. A possible ally for Stefan, and possibly Damon. Likin' it. :)

A lot happened in this episode. I knew that the history teacher was a vampire - it was just so obvious. What I don't understand is why he turned Logan in the first place only to kill him later.

Are all new vampires in Mystic Falls destined to die. In True Blood when Bill turns Jessica it's great to watch her developing into a stronger vampire - I would have liked to see Vicki develop more.

The scenes between Stefan and Elena were ever so reminiscent of Buffy & Angel. Elena even look a bit like Sarah Michelle Gellar and Stefan has the same tortured thing going on as Angel. The love making scene would also not have looked out of place inone of the earlierBuffy episodes.moreless

this episode was one of the best episode of the vampire diaries and the episode are all great btw

this episode added some mystery some love some questions and a few answers it began with Stefan wanting to go out of mystic falls and Damon wanting to go with him but Stefan doesn't want Damon to go with him he want's to stay away from Damon as far as possible and Elena sad about Stefan leaving and that reporter is back but this time he is a vampire and he is trying to walk in the sun and doesn't know how to so he asks Damon and tries to kill him and then he goes after Stefan and tries to do something about it but he fails again then the new vampire teacher kills him and the police think that Damon did it and tank him and Damon is disappointed because he thought he will get back the Cathrine and some other vampires and Stefan and Elena finally have a sexual relationship and it ends with Elena seeing the picture of Cathrine and she goes out angry and hits a vampire and the mystery vampire walks and the episode ended and aim hanging and waiting for the next episode and i really want to see it soon it will air on January 21, 2010 so don't miss itmoreless

So.. some kind of endgame? It comes out that brothers are not only one in the town with that kind of powers and that journalist starts to make them very angry (specially Damon).. so in the end, we have all the major players, some trying to hide their footprints and stay low (even thought I started to like brothers working together) and some wants to make a mess but even if they took care of the problem, quite many questions remained..

And the whole Stefan and Elena storyline.. We all know that one point they come together but I think we all know also that it won't long last.. So.. I think some answers, great and huge storylines but still.. I think they can do bettermoreless
