It is now official. I am now hooked on The Vampire Diaries!!

This was such a fantastic episode!! MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!

Stefan and Elena run into an old man who tells Stefan that he remembers Stefan and that he hasn't aged a bit. Elena gets quite suspicious. At a car wash fundraiser, Bonnie experiences more with her powers. At the car wash, Elena talks to the same old man who recognized Stefan and she asked him how he knew him. He tells her that hew stayed at the Salavatore Boarding House in June 1954 and Stefan was there, the same time Stefan's uncle was bitten by an "animal". Elena then decides to do research and finds a video of his uncles body and in the background is Stefan. She then realizes that Stefan is a vampire and runs over to his house, she contemplates whether to go in or not and he opens the door and she says "What are You?" episode ends.....

Such and awesome episode and the best and my favorite episode so far! 10/10!moreless

At a fund-raiser, Bonnie is taken aback by how advanced her powers are, and turns to her grandmother for guidance. Elena uncovers some news about the Salvatore family. I haven't watched the show for a while now due to the fact that I hardly have any time to watch it, but I'm trying to catch up now. I love the scene at the start with Damon and Stefan, very interesting. I love the scene with Jeremy and Nikki scene, and the fact that Elena finds out, funny really. I love the way Elena is moaning or complaining about Stefan, love it. I love the scene between Stefan and Elena, then Caroline is asking about Damon who apparently isn't coming back, we will see about that. I love the scene where Stefan saves the uncle awesome scene. I also love the scene with Elena and Matt playing pool and talking about Stefan. Then the scene when Elena and Stefan and the old man knows Stefan, awesome storyline! I love the scene with Jeremy and Elena and he tells her to get something to eat then Stefan is cooking her tea, and then were he starts talking about himself. Then he nearly gets caught with his eyes. They are so cute together. I love scene where everybody is washing the cars, and Boonie does that to the girl, nicely done. I lov eht scene between Elena and the old dude, awesome storyline. I love the scene between Elena and Stefan after the talk with the old man. I love the way Caroline comes to get Damon out, then Stefan is there and it's just basically just awesome! Elena has worked out who Stefan is, awesome storyline. I love the ending, so awesome!moreless

    The Vampire Diaries
    Season 1
Episode 5: You're Undead to Me
Stefan shares some of his past with Elena. Bonnie discovers she has abilitties she didnt know about. Stefan captures Damon in his basement and drugs him, but Damon hipnotizes Caroline in order to be free and kills Zach. A stranger reveals some of Stefan information to Elena. This episode was rlly cool, interesting and grt. I had liked the previous episodes of the vampire diaries, but this one's the best (that I've seen so far). Elena seems to have finally discovered what Stefan is, and it seems that Damon has killed Vicki (it is revealed later what really happened). Grt ep!moreless

    Okay
    let
    me
    just
    say...
    This episode's ending was epic!!

I was a little disappointed that they killed Zach, and left Caroline alive. I think the EXACT OpPOSITE should have happened!! I don't really care about Vicky's apparent death, except for the fact that her death will kindd of kill of all of Jeremy's storylines (or at least that's what it appears to look like). Maybe it'll make him set out to kill Damon. Who knows??

I'm glad that Elena FINALLY found out!! I don't think it was too soon, and I absoluttely loved the cliffhanger at the endo f the episode when Elena confronts Stefan and says, "What are you?"

    Great!

Took her long enough. But the scene where she figures out what Stefan is.. wow, talk about deja v.. but I guess it can be different than a scene where the character goes all zen and gather her thoughts and finally understands the clues.

Damon gets out. We know he would.. but poor Zack.. got bashed like that.. he didn't much in the show but complain about vamps. But I felt sorry for the guy.

And Jeremy.. how sad is he? Chasing around that girl who only wants to get high.. some serious issues going there..

Oh well.. gotta watch the next episode.. the truth is out there.. haha

    Cheers!moreless

    • Goof: In the scene where Elena wakes up and reaches for her diary, one shot shows her vervain necklace hidden under her hair on her right, but the next shot shows the necklace in the middle of her chest. The next few shots alternatively show the necklace in the two positions. Edit

    • Goof: In the scene where Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) chases Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola) up the basement stairs after she lets him out of the cell, there is a bright light shining at the bottom of the steps even though the basement was dark in the previous scenes. Edit

    • Stefan: As far as music, it's pretty much across the board, um, Dylan, Hendrix, Patsy, Willie, a little Kanye. You know what? I even like that one Miley song. (Elena laughs) Stefan: Easy... Edit
    • Vicki: I think you might be in trouble. Jeremy: What'd you do? Vicki: Elena saw me. Jeremy: I'm a drug-using delinquent. A girl in bed doesn't really rank, sorry. Edit
    • Stefan: During the Dark Ages, when a vampire's actions threatened to expose or bring harm upon the entire race, he would face judgment. They sought to reeducate them rather than to punish them. Damon: You know what will happen if I don't feed on blood. Stefan: You'll grow weaker and weaker, and eventually you won't be able to move or speak. In a week, your skin will desiccate, and you'll mummify. A living corpse, unable to hurt anyone...ever. Damon: So what, you just going to just leave me in the basement...forever? Stefan: I've injected you with enough vervain to keep you weak. Once your circulation stops, I'll move you to the family crypt, and in a 150 years we can reevaluate. Edit

    • Title You're Undead To Me alludes to the old english saying "You're Dead To Me" which means to disown the person being spoken to. Edit
    • Stefan: (to Elena) I think Seinfeld is the best American television show of the past fifty years, but I Love Lucy is all-time. The Loving Cup episode is the best, I think. Huge Scorsese fan, I can watch Taxi Driver over and over again. Seinfeld is a sitcom that ran from 1989 to 1998, and many critics consider the show among the greatest of all time. I Love Lucy is another comedy series. The show ran from 1951 and 1957, and the episode Lucy and the Loving Cup aired during the show's final season. Taxi Driver is a 1976 movie that was directed by Martin Scorsese and starred Robert De Niro. Edit
    • Stefan: (to Elena) I'm an avid reader, huge Fitzgerald fan. The Great Gatsby is a masterpiece. But I'm no snob, I love some good Grisham. The Great Gatsby is a classic novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, published in 1925. The book is set in the early 1920s and comments on the immorality and materialism that came with prosperity in America after World War I. John Grisham is an author, best known for his courtroom thrillers. Several of his books have been made into movies, including The Firm and The Pelican Brief. Edit
