    They passed on the Pilot treatmentat the end of the summer. That is why you didn't hear anything about it.

    An American Vicar of Dibley would never work. It's set in a tiny little English country village. You don't get those in America.

    It already airs in the States and Canada on PBS, why would Fox want to remake a classic British show into an American version? That's really a dumb idea.

    Too bad you can't explain to the TV execs that the success of The Office has more to do with the cast, writing and relatability and less to do with the fact that it's a remake of a British show. What about that other Australian sitcom with Molly Shannon that NBC was going to do? Where is it? Hmm...

    say it aint so there is no way i'll watch it and i don't think dawn frencg would let them do it there is no way it could be as funny the show worked because of the cast.
