A ten year anniversary episode shows Geraldine thinking over whether she has made a difference and whether she is needed in Dibley. Her feelings intensify when David says that Geraldine deserves a promotion and has put in a word with old school chum, the Archbishop of Canterbury.

We catch up with all our old friends and find that Hugo and Alice have ten(!) children. Alice has also, over the years, tried to redecorate the David's house and he gives in on the den- which is given the Alice Tinker-Horton treatment you'd expect!

Bibles, big reindeer statues, and a painting of Davids are spoken about and given 'round by unexpected folks! (Or not if you know the characters.) (The boys' gift to Geraldine is amazingly thoughtful as well as hilarious!)

Overall, a sweet look back at a lovely, gentle series.

    • Vicar: Sorry i'm late I've been watching a documentary. David: Well Item 1. Vicar: Actually can I add an item 0.5 in? David: No Vicar: Thank you. Well this Christmas is quite special this year. Jim: Is Carry On Camping going to be on the telly? Vicar: No, no! Owen: Is Jesus coming back to get rid of all the bad in this sick world? Vicar: Not that either although it would be good to have someone new presenting Songs of Praise!, but no, the reason that this year is special to me is that it is my tenth year in Dibley. Frank: You chose to spend the best 10 years of your life when you could have been having the time of your life, stuck here with us morons! Edit
