Show Summary

The Vicki Gabereau Show is an afternoon talk show from Canada that has TV personality Vicki Gabereau going on-on-one with invited guests. The season starts in 1997 with Susanna Thompson promoting her TV movie, In the Line of Duty: Blaze of Glory. The actress gets a bit embarrassed after Gabereau previews a passionate scene between Thompson and her co-star Bruce Campbell. The next segment has musician Lisa Martin discussing her family life with Gabereau. Later in the season, professional matchmaker Jane Carstens teaches the studio audience how to find their soul mates and Canadian pop sensation, Allison Louise Crowe, reveals how she became famous after posting videos on YouTube. Gabereau also invites up-and-coming musicians to her show to perform live before she interviews them. Singer-songwriter Rita MacNeil plays a ballad for the studio audience, and fiddler Ashley MacIsaac promotes her latest album, Pride. Interesting non-celebrity guests appear on The Vicki Gabereau Show as the season progresses, with regular appearances from animal expert Gregory Emerson who works at the British Colombia Zoo and Canadian magician, Chris Pilsworth.
