This episode was released theatrically in areas outside the USA and Canada such as in Australia.
The episode was one of a handful of TV appearances of Guest Star Ulla Jacobssen. She is better known for her film work, which, although not extensive, included the female lead in Ingmar Bergman's film "Smiles of a Summer Night" (1955) as well as a major supporting role in "Zulu" (1964) as the preacher's (Jack Hawkins') daughter.
All the regulars save Steve Hill appear but the appearances of The Virginian and Betsy Garth are quite brief. Semi-regular, Sheriff Abbott (Ross Elliott) also appears.
This episode is one of the most serious, uncompromising, and consequently best entries in the series.
