Mezzo-soprano Rise Stevens is the guest soloist. Howard Barlow conducts the Firestone Orchestra and Chorus. Miss Stevens will be made up as Queen Elizabeth I, Madame DuBarry, Joan of Arc and Lillian Russell. The chorus will portray Gibson Girls, and a dancer - as yet unnamed - will perform as Pavlova. Highlights: The Orchestra opens with "Belle of the Ball" by Leroy Anderson. Rise Stevens as Queen Elizabeth I sings "Greensleeves". The Chorus as Gibson Girls perform "Tell Me Pretty Maiden" from "The Flora Dora" by Leslie Stuart. A dancer as Pavlova performs to Chopin "Waltz in C Sharp Minor". Rise Stevens as Madame DuBarry sings "I Give My Heart" from "The DuBarry" by Karl Millecker Rise Stevens as Joan of Arc sings "Adieu Forcis" from "Jeanne d'Arc" by Tchaikovsky. The Orchestra performs the Overture to "Martha" by Von Flowtow. Rise Stevens as Lillian Russell sings "Merry Widow Waltz" from "The Merry Widow" by Franz Lehar.moreless
