  • another saving money ep

Its clearly they need to make about 3-4 episodes every year now due to low budgets, not including the main cast and just a few extras is cheap, not much location filiming either, add bad acting by the governor actor and you have a complete failure of a episode
  • A little bored with the Gov spin off now

A little bored with the Gov spin off now, we need the main cast back.
  • Good episode

I have enjoyed this episode, we've learned a few things about the Governor, he has a brother that was a hero and he doesn't appreciate heroes and he also had a very straight dad. The 3rd best episode of S4.

Two episodes to set up what the Governor's been up to worked well pacing-wise (and for a while there I was almost starting to warm up to him as a character), but then we just went right back to business as usual. All he wanted was another army to march up to the gates of the prison to take over. This is somewhat tragic, given that the prison is all but compromised and diseased inside out. Look upon my works, ye mighty, and despair. I really wanted these episodes to work, but they didn't. It's all an exercise in futility. Yes, they're all broken and just fighting to survive, but I'm really tired of people versus people when walkers and disease are the real threats.moreless
  • This one is definitely sinking.

'Dead Weight' just did not have the gravitas we experienced with the return of Morgan in last seasons 'Clear'. This and 'Live Bait' were supposed to be the long awaited return of the Governor and to be honest both episodes stank like a couple of headless bodies. I'm just not excited to have the Governor back right now and this whole relationship between him and Lilly is the most forced thing on TV I mean come on they just met and were like 'eh you look doable, want to hook up?' One of the most useless episodes of last season, 'Prey' is looking better than this 2 part garbage. Like Tim said in the review when can we get back to Camp Rick?moreless
