The idea of having your own stillborn baby turn into a Walker and eat at you from the inside out was pretty terrible...but was it the worse?

If the baby does die and turn walker inside her it wouldn't have teeth and be strong enough to rip her insides apart.

Though she would need to have it removed right away for rotting reasons.

i was watching the baby like a hawk for signs of being a stillborn walker baby. expecting a nibble scenario while digging in during the c-section.

even with Maggie walking outside holding it precariously to her chest after delivery.

It would still have fingers though and walkers seem to have abnormal strength when it comes to tearing their meat apart - going through people's bellies like tissue paper. So I think it was a real danger.

I don't see a newborn (or newdead) having the strength to do anything, but since mother and child are connected via umbilical cord, I see that as the worst chance for her to end up infected over this toxic corpse inside her.

I'm thinking if the baby dies with the mother then there's only one zombie anyway (the baby remains inside with the corpse).
