Question about the girl walker in season 1 episode 1

    in the first episode of the series they show the girl walker picks up a teddy bear, i believe there's a reason to show us this...


    perhups to make us wonder....if there is still a bit of humanity left ....

    Actually...quite a few Walkers exhibit "human" like behavior. When the group goes into a church, the Walkers there are sitting in the pews as if they were waiting for the service to begin. Other Walkers have shown to be able to use door handles and such.

    When they do not have any stimuli (living things) they tend to be passive. But when that stimuli is there, all humanistic qualities go away instantly.

    Sophia looked human to me until Rick shot her too.


    It's hard to see kids as zombies.

    I agree too. I though of the church scene & the little girl when the Governor was asking if they ever saw "biters" exhibit traits of their former lives...
