This is slow motion tv. Its back to the dragging pace that this show made so perfect. I am sorry but this is not even better than any cancelled show.

And that, ladies and gents, is quick-draw Rick. This show is incredible in its ability to depict grief and hope. So many different shades of it for so many different people. Pain and numbness. Blind and missing. And the effects of stress. Rick is under so much pressure at this point that a breakdown is inevitable. This episode was a decent one, fracturing the group in a bunch of different directions, leaving them as disunited as they've ever been.moreless
  • At least the characters are getting a bit more dept

    6.5
which is long overdue. Unfortunately the show is still predictable, takes easy turns and misses a clear direction. Why on Earth does Lori drive to town? She's gonna fetch the guys from town in a jiffy? What is she thinking?? Way to create a new scenario, writers! Let her have an accident, driving like my granny, and there you go: we got ourselves a new situation... real points for creativity there guys!

And what is up with this magic farm where everyone wants to go? zombies can't get there? Last time I checked 98% of the population died. I would think there are a couple more farms (houses, churches, hell ,even castles) available in the area. C'mon!

But why explain what cannot easily be explained. That would involve some real writing...

I'm giving the show a few more episodes to improve. Just a few.moreless

Shane to Dale: 'Next time I need a radiator hose, I'll give you a call' I so hoped his car would break down. :D

Shane was really nice to Carol. Maybe he'll come around and be a better man?

I loved the interaction with the 2 guys in the bar. From the moment they walked in, I knew they were trouble. I kept thinking: Come on, Rick, just shoot them. And then BAM.moreless

I found the drama in this episode to be a lot better, at least for catching my interest. Still a slow episode and I'm still wishing for more action.

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • From the opening scene, most of the Atlanta survivors stayed down at the barn. But when Glenn, Rick and Shane followed Herschel up to his house, there was no one down at the barn but the dead Walkers. The next scene showing the barn had them all down their again.

    • After the opening credits, the scene opens up with a shot of a windmill. The windmill is from the Aermotor Company that sells windmills like that to pump water out of the ground.

    • The total number of Walkers in Herschel's barn was 15: twelve neighbors, two of Herschel's relations and Sophia.

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Rick: (on Sophia being in the barn) She was there all the time.
Lori: And you did everything you could.
Rick: Yeah I know, I always do don't I? Went after her, protected her, kill those Walkers but she still got bit. Carl still got shot. People counting on me and I had them chasing a ghost in the forest.

    • Glenn: (alone with Maggie) I have to ask you. Did you know she was in the barn?
Maggie: (long pause with a disbelief look)
Glenn: (walking toward a window and looking out) Maybe in some weird way this is for the best. At least we know and now we can move on.

    • Rick: We don't know anything about you.
Dave: No, that's true. You don't know anything about us. You don't what we had to go through out there, the things we've had to do. I bet you've had to do some of those things yourself. Am I right? 'Cause ain't nobody's hands clean in what's left of this world. We're all the same.

    • Dave: Walkers? That what you call them?
      Glenn: Yeah.
Dave: That's good. I like that. I like that better than lamebrains.
      Tony: More succinct.
Dave: Okay, Tony went to college.
      Tony: Two years.

    • Dave: I'm Dave. That scrawny-looking douche bag is Tony.
      Tony: Eat me, Dave.
Dave: Hey, maybe someday I will.

    • Herschel: (to Rick) There is no hope for any of us.

  • NOTES (4)

    • Locations: The bar that Rick and Glen find Herschel in, is in Sharpsburg, GA. on Territine Road.
