Michonne reclaims her Katana in this episode.
The title of the episode comes from Gabriel's objecting to the violence just committed in the House of Lord, to which Maggie replies, "No, it's just four walls and a roof."
Goof: When the remainder of the party is being besieged in the church, Father Gabriel is seen clutching a Rosary. This is incorrect. He is a priest in the Episcopalian Church, which while very similar in it's rites and practices to the Roman Catholic Church, do not venerate Mary, as Catholics do;
There are five bible quotes on display in the church (Romans 6:4, Ezekiel 37:7, Matthew 27:52, Revelation 9:6, Luke 24:5). Most are references to dead returning to life.
This episode marks that Tyreese did not actually kill Martin as he is seen in the end of the episode eating Bob's foot.
Goof: During the scene when Rick prepares to ambush a team of Terminus residents and take their weapons. Daryl saves Rick from a walker with a crowbar, however, Daryl didn't have a crowbar for a weapon but a metal pipe handle he broke off a machine before leaving the slaughterhouse. He then no longer has the crowbar, but has the metal pipe again from earlier.
Goof: When Rick shoots several Terminus residents with the assault rifle, the ejection port doesn't open during any of the shots.
Goof: The train car where the group is locked is in a different position than it was in "A".
Goof: When Carol was about to shoot the gas tank at Terminus, we could see two Terminus residents run past the tank. But when the camera zoomed in and Carol fired the first shot, those two Terminus residents could be seen running past the tank again.
It is revealed that the Terminus residents turned into a group of cannibals after being attacked by a group of anonymous people.
The title of this episode comes from the fact that Terminus isn't a sanctuary as it claims, and also from Rick's repainting of the Terminus sign so it reads "NO SANCTUARY".
This episode features the most deaths for a season premiere, with a total of at least 24 casualties.
Before Rick and his group enters Terminus, he buries a bag of weapons that includes:
Colt .357 Python
Two 9mm Uzi
12 gauge Remington Shotgun
Lightweight Colt Commander 1911
45 Bowtech 101st Airborne
A total of eight confirmed Walkers that were killed in this episode. Glenn had the most Walker kills with five.
The song playing in the pre-credits opening sequence is "Maybe" by The Ink Spots. It is also featured in other post-apocalyptic fiction, namely in the role-playing video game series Fallout.
There were nine confirmed Walker deaths on the show. Carol had the most kills with three.
Carol's handgun is a .38 Caliber Colt Cobra. It is the same type of handgun used to kill Lee Harvey Oswald.
After Carol kills the Walker that came after the girls, Mika tells Lizzie to count to three and look at the flowers. The first time Mika had Lizzie do this was when Carol had to kill their father in the episode "Infected".
There were seven confirmed Walker deaths in the episode. Daryl killed five while Beth killed two.
The weapon Rick took from the guy he killed was a 9mm Uzi.
