    Anyone remember if the family ever visited Washington, DC? They lived in Virginia. If they went there, did any of them mention the name Roosevelt?

    I remember very late in the series when John-Boy was brought back in another incarnation, he was a patient in a military hospital recovering there. His parents visited him there. As far as President Roosevelt, I seem to remember them talking about him early in the series. I believe it was in relation to the family listening to a radio broadcast.
