Put on a Happy Face
AIRED:
When Kenny moves into the Gold's house, Vicky sets out to re-decorate the basement for him, however, her ideas don't meet Kenny's standards, and Larry, Hillary, and Mike try to get him to stop showing them up by doing all the chores and laughing at Dave's bad jokes. Meanwhile, Dave uses Kenny's moving in to his advantage and tells everyone at work he's taken in an "orphaned gay kid" so that he'll look like a good guy and hopefully get the newly-vacant, larger office.moreless

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • Goof: In the break room, Joe is sitting at a table and informs Dave that he got the corner office. However, in the next shot, Joe all of a sudden has a doughnut in his hand, which he didn't have before.

    • QUOTES (7)

      • Vicky: I'm worried about Kenny.
Dave: Why? He seems perfectly happy to me. One might even say gay.

      • Vicky: I'm just saying Kenny's acting like he's fine, but I can tell he's crying on the inside.
Dave: Good. That's where he should cry. That's where I've been crying for the last 30 years, and it hasn't hurt me any. (opens a beer and drinks it)
Vicky: Hasn't hurt the beer industry, either.

      • Joe: Dave, did you hear? Henderson died. He was playing golf, and had a heart attack.
Dave: Oh, my God. (pauses) That's great!
Joe: Great? He left behind a wife and two kids.
Dave: And a spectacular corner office with an amazing view.

      • Dave: I don't even have a window that opens in my office, which is a good thing because, if I did, I probably would have jumped out of it by now.
        Joe: Or been pushed.

      • Joe: (about Donna; to Dave) She's the nicest person in the office. Mr. Park loves her. He calls her "Mother Theresa." You don't wanna know what he calls you, but the word "mother" figures into it prominently.

      • Dave: Hey, Mr. Park, how you doing?
Mr. Park: What a surprise. Look who's in the break room. Why don't we just move your desk in here?

      • Vicky: If Kenny's the gay one, how come Larry's the drama queen?
