  • Dave rapping is pure comedy

Larry meets with a music executive who wants him to make a demo after hearing a song he composed for a website. After learning about this, Dave reveals that he considered himself to be the original white rapper in high school, known as The White Shadow, and offers to help Larry with the lyrics. He wants to show him the support his own father didn't show him. Meanwhile, tired of being skinny, Mike decides to bulk up by obstinating from sex- to himself, and Hillary questions Taye's motives when he tells her he loves her which turn out to be genuine.
  • Better than it has been...

This episode was better than previous shows have been. Hopefully, they'll start hitting their stride again and pull the show back up. The funniest parts of the show didn't come from Michael Rapaport's, as that part of show was becoming tedious to watch, and wasn't all that funny. The funniest parts of the show came from Dean Collins' character, as his parents thought that he was taking steroids, but in fact he was abstaining from self-gratification. That was pretty funny, but it was the third storyline arc of the show. The second involved Kaylee Defer's character and her boyfriend, and that seemed like a filler time for the show. Overall, it was better than it has been, and maybe they can start getting this show up and running again, and actually being funny once again, as they showed a little promise in this episode.
