With the Nazis on the verge of surrendering, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt warns the American citizens that the war with Japan could take several years to resolve.

After nearly three years of fighting, bad news from the War Department does not stop; Adolf Hitler begins launching his counterattack in the Ardennes forest of Luxembourg and Belgium.

Americans are shocked by Hitler's massive counterattack in the Ardennes Forest--but by mid March, 1945, they are across the Rhine, while the Russians are 50 miles from Berlin. The Germans still occupy most of Western Europe; most of the manufacturing cities in the United States are converted to help out with the war effort.

The attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese forces the United States into World War II; thousands of Japanese immigrants, and Japanese born Americans are put into internment camps.
