Kathie Lee Gifford gives Wayne some wise advice about growing old and cherishing life while you have it. Wayne wishes Kathie a belated 50th birthday. Then, Wayne goes to EPCOT (The Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow) and tastes food from 11 different countries in 5 minutes. Later, Bonnie Rosinger, the 74-year-old woman who chased down a thief who took her "leather bank" (her purse held all her money: $500), sits down and talks to Wayne and gives thieves a message about mugging elderly people. Wayne welcomes Paige Davis from Trading Spaces for the fifth time in two seasons. He mentions that she holds the record for being on the "Wayne Brady Show" the most times. Paige pitches her new book "Paige by Paige: A Year of Trading Spaces" and Wayne reads a journal entry from the book that talks about one of her visits to the "Wayne Brady Show". Wayne and Paige sing "Beauty and the Beast" to wrap up the show.moreless

Wayne performed a tribute song to Beyonce Knowles before she came out. Beyonce spoke about how the press always wants to take her picture and how she hates the word "Bootylicious" because everyone always uses it around her. Her mother, Tina Knowles, was seated in the audience and Beyonce said she spends much time with her family...Later on, comedian Joan Rivers came out and joked about Michael Jackson and Winona Ryder. In preparation for the Emmys, Wayne and Joan goofed around about possible outfits he could wear to the big show. She told Wayne not to worry about clothes and to let his wife shine for the night. Things took a serious turn when Wayne brought up the recent death of John Ritter. Joan said Ritter was honorable and dear to everyone. Wayne played a clip of Ritter being interviewed by kid correspondent Lil Stevie four days before he died.moreless

Before TV's most popular judge came out, Wayne and the band sang a tribute song to her. The song, "How Sweet It Is To Be Judged By you," featured some of the lines she often uses on the show. As the band played, Judge Judy came out and danced with Wayne. The judge spoke about her happy childhood and about 25 years in family court. She got her big break when someone saw her in a 60 Minutes piece and decided she would be great on TV. Wayne pointed out that eight years later, she is one of the highest paid women in the history of television. Judge Judy said that she ignores the cameras during the cases and focuses on the people. After a break, Wayne brought out some old pictures of the judge and teased her about her afro that she had during the 1970s.moreless

After a summer of repeats, Wayne Brady launched all over the country with new shows. His show featured a brand new set and new graphics. As he entered the stage, he brought out his daughter to greet the audience with him. Brady also spoke about his Emmy wins and sang about the news events of the summer. His first guest was Jamie Lee Curtis from the summer movie, "Freaky Friday," who told Wayne how happy she was to be over 40 and have a hit movie. She also discussed her love of Justin Timberlake, so Wayne surprised her with a basket of JT stuff. Unlike other talk shows, Wayne's show is kid friendly, so to please the children in the audience, Wayne welcomed the Bear in the Big Blue House. Bear sat in a regular guest chair and even danced with Wayne.moreless
