The Wayne Brady Show

Show Summary

The multi-talented star of Whose Line Is It Anyway? finally has his own show on ABC. Described as a throwback to the days of Carol Burnett and Flip Wilson, Wayne mixes sketch comedy, improvisation, and both serious and humorous musical numbers. Joined by Jonathan Mangum, a veteran of the improvisational show Kwik Witz, J.P. Manoux, who has guest starred on shows like The Drew Carey Show, and a revolving door of celebrity guest stars, this show is truly like nothing else on television. Whose Line Is It Anyway? debuted in early August in 1998; look where it is now. Unfortunately, The Wayne Brady Show never was as successful.

  • Great show hosted by \"Whose Line\'s\" Wayne Brady

    8.5
I watched this whenever it was on while it was on. Wayne was a great interviewer and was great on WLISA. Even though he was the weakest featured player on there he did a great job on this. I cant beleive that Tony Danza replaced this Tony sucked and got canceld, Wayne did good enough said.
  • This show had to get canceled. It was funny and won awards.

This show had to get canceled. It was funny and won awards. No wait, thats what shows are supose to do. wayne was great and very funny. This show was similar to " The Ellen DeGeneres Show " in quality and humor. I thought wayne was really good on " Who's Line Is It Anyway? " as well. His brand of humor and singing talents are fantastic. i guess he need to do shows about who the father is of a baby or incest or other creepy white trash topics. I would love to see the show come back but I do not see that happening anytime soon.moreless
