Show Summary

The Webster Webfoot Show is a 60-minute long children's show of the early 1950s, starring Uncle Jimmy (ventriloquist Jimmy Weldon) and his dummy, a playful duck Webster Webfoot who talks a lot and sports a baseball cap and bandanna. He is born on the non-existent February 31st and is constantly three years old. Caps, sweaters, t-shirts, stuffed toys, towels, records and other promotional merchandise bearing his picture and name are very popular with the younger audience. On the show, Webster chats with other famous entertainers like Ed Sullivan and Kate Smith. It gives tips on safety to children and has been nominated for Outstanding Children's show.
