We learn that Bluke is double jointed in this episode.
Carver: (To Tino) We could have gotten the "Be honest" speech from our own parents.
Lor: My dad had it tattooed on his forearm.
Tino's mom's dish: Squid chip cookies.
The dates that Tish set up for Tino and Lor are Tasha and Thompson, the people they have crushes on, yet they still do not want to attend Tish's party.
The Lor signal is a parody of the Bat Signal which is used to call Batman to the roof of police headquarters. Lor uses the same concept to get out of the dinner party. Carver also uses the Lor signal excuse by saying that she'll need her sidekick Carver-Lad a parody of Batman's sidekick Robin.
