    • (They both listen to the heartbeats and look at the picture on the monitor.) Toby: (in awe) Andy, you-you can see their... heads. My kids have heads.

    • Richie Supporter: Let me ask you this. Bartlet's supposed to be smart right? He's the smart one, we're the dumb ones, he knows best. So what does it say to you when his people don't know how to fill out a ballot? Maybe he's a little out of touch. Is that what it says? (walks away)
Donna (yelling after him): Or maybe it says with the president's supporters accidentally voting for the wrong candidate, you're still gonna get creamed you little fascist!

    • C.J.: Did you--?
Sam: Yes. I turned, I cursed, I spat, it froze.

    • C.J.: (to Toby) Listen, I know better than to stick my face in your personal life. Except, you know, for sport.

    • Toby: I've got a speech if he wins. I've got a speech if he doesn't.
      Sam: You wrote a concession?
Toby: Of course I wrote a concession. What are...you wanna tempt the wrath of the whatever, from high atop the thing?

    • Josh (on the new meeting rules): That's insane.
      Debbie: Well, I'm quite mad.

      Toby: Spit.

The actions to reverse the bad luck is a reference to the play Macbeth.
It is said that the play Macbeth is cursed. Saying "Macbeth" inside a theater will bring bad luck. To reverse the bad luck things like Josh and Toby say have to be done by the person who said it.
