Ohhh, where to begin? First of all, the plotline is very similar to the Season 1 episode, "Pregnant Pause". Replace Reese with Falahey, and Darlene with the white girl, and the two stories are almost interchangeable, except that Falahey finds out the baby isn't his.

Second, this was a disastrous attempt to center an episode around one of the "new guys." Falahey's character is about as interesting as reading the dictionary. Heck, even Goldstein would have been more entertaining.

And finally, the PLAYERS are supposed to learn the lessons, not Reeves. Reeves basically winds up with egg on his face at the end. Anybody would find it hard to sympathize with his plight (getting out of jury duty) in this one.

    • This is the last appearance for Roosevelt Grier in the recurring role of Ezra Davis. Edit
    • In this episode, Carver loses to Keeler without Coolidge, who had a hurt ankle. In the Season 1 episode "Bonus Baby", Carver lost to Keeler after Reeves kicked Coolidge off the team for getting too cocky about the pros. In the Season 2 episode "No Place Like Home", Carver lost to Keeler again without Coolidge, who missed the game on purpose after Reeves blessed him out for messing up his apartment. So, Reeves went 0-3 against Keeler (in the regular season) and Coolidge never played against them. Edit
