  • TRIVIA (3)

    • At Bobby's first practice, when he storms off the court after running over Hayward, the rest of the team is helping Hayward up. But, in the very next shot, when Reeves asks Bobby where he's going, he's standing at the gym door and Hayward is being helped up once again.

    • Basket-by-basket recap of Reeves vs. Magum at the park:

Magum takes it out, hits long jumper. 1-0, Magum
Magum hits another jumper from right of key. 2-0 Magum
Magum, more closely defended by Reeves, hits pull-up jumper from left of foul line, 3-0 Magum
Reeves blocks Magum's shot from left baseline, hits jumper from left of key. 3-1 Magum
Reeves hits short hook shot. 3-2 Magum.
Magum steals from Reeves, hits running one-hander off board. 4-2 Magum.
Reeves hits jumper from right side. 4-3 Magum.
Reeves hits short hook in lane. 4-4 tie.
Magum hits shot charging into Reeves. 5-4 Magum.
Reeves returns favor by hitting inside, putting Magum on ground. 5-5 tie.
Reeves hits reverse layup. 6-5 Reeves.
Reeves hits another jumper. 7-5 Reeves.
Magum hits from foul line. 7-6 Reeves.
Magum hits up-and-under layup. 7-7 tie.

At this point, Magum says, "8-8, man," so we missed two baskets.

      Reeves dunks. 9-8 Reeves.
Reeves hits baseline shot going out of bounds. REEVES WINS, 10-8!

    • Continuity goof: in this episode, Bobby says Coach Reeves played with Chicago, Denver, and Milwaukee, played eight seasons, and averaged six points a game (Reeves goes on to mention he also played with Detroit). But, in "The Offer", Reeves told Sally Adams that he was in the Bulls' starting lineup for 10 seasons.
