Episode Summary

Coach Reeves recruits Bobby Magum, a playground basketball hustler, for the Carver High team. Reeves soon finds out Magum carries a lot of baggage, such as being in trouble with loan sharks.

      • At Bobby's first practice, when he storms off the court after running over Hayward, the rest of the team is helping Hayward up. But, in the very next shot, when Reeves asks Bobby where he's going, he's standing at the gym door and Hayward is being helped up once again.

      • Continuity goof: in this episode, Bobby says Coach Reeves played with Chicago, Denver, and Milwaukee, played eight seasons, and averaged six points a game (Reeves goes on to mention he also played with Detroit). But, in "The Offer", Reeves told Sally Adams that he was in the Bulls' starting lineup for 10 seasons.
