Gadgets: derringer with dart line and motorized hand winch, sleeve-mounted climbing claws
In the opening scene, a long shot of a boat with an enclosed cabin on the storm sea (in black and white) is shown. When they do closeups, the boat has some kind of steam power and there is a canvas roof over the boat.
McAvity: Joe Bleak had no right giving that stuff away. It belonged to us.
Jim: You're going to find it hard to argue with a dead man.
Boatman: It's like arguing with a ghost.
McAvity: You're looking fine, Celia. The only woman I know who could thrive on a sea-bitten island.
Celia: Mr. West, tell me, why does a man seek danger as a career?
Jim: I prefer the kind of hunting where you don't put the trophies on the wall, that's all.
Alicia: All this talk about ghosts. It's nonsense. I've lived on Bleak Island ever since I was a little girl. And I've never seen one.
McAvity: Only the old are close enough to the grave to know about that, my dear.
Sir Nigel: There's one thing I can't stand, Mr. Krone. Incompetence in a criminal.
Commercial breaks: ll: Sir Nigel, lr: Jim, unconscious, ul: Mark and Alicia, ur: Artie's photo
West introduces his date that night as Nancy Conrad--one of Robert Conrad's real-life daughter's names.
A remake/homage of the classic Sherlock Holmes novel The Hound of the Baskervilles.
