When Grigsby first peers at the Constitution, there is a glint indicating that it's under a sheet of glass. However, when Grigsby says he must touch it, Freemantle nods, and Grigsby immediately reaches into the box. There's no indication of glass being removed.
After Jim sneaks into the compound, he comes around to the front gate to let Artemus in. He then walks over to a guard he had obviously knocked out previously and drags him out of the way. The "unconscious" man holds his head up off the ground.
When Jim starts to cross back over the acid after recovering the Constitution, it's clear that he has moved several feet beyond the edge. The camera then cuts away to Freemantle and his men approaching. When the camera cuts back to Jim, he's just starting over the far edge again.
Jim cuts through the sheet of glass to get at the Constitution. It is spread out flat in the box, but when Jim reaches through the hole in the glass, it's already rolled up for him--he makes no movements to show that he's rolling it up before pulling it out.
(while being searched)
Jim: There's a Gatling gun in my left boot.
Carlotta: Move away from that window, please.
Jim: I was all wrong. The boots, the riding crop. You were made to wear silk.
Carlotta: And you were made for a form-fitting pine box.
(Jim tosses the unconscious Carlotta on her bed)
Artie: Well, the story of my life. I touch 'em and they faint.
Carlotta: At the count of three, gentlemen.
Jim: Well, if you can shoot like you kiss, I'm in real trouble.
Commercial breaks: ul: Jim under the wagon, lr: Carlotta unconscious, ur: Freemantle, ll: Jim and Artie
