You can't really take into account the nielson ratings because they are so inaccurate because:

1st: the Nielson Rating System thinks that every house has 1 television but what happens if a family has 3 televisons and they are all watching the same show but on their own tv, so the rating only counts that 1 tv and they leave out the other 2

2nd: Some people don't participate in the Nielson Rating System and don't fill out what they watched so you can't be sure exactly who was watching

It's done electronically, genius. They install a box inside of the TV, and then the Neilsen guy comes to the residence & then to the TV and downloads the data with his device.

I'm only posting this to show you were not replying to me.

And I agree with what you said.

Those ratings are all fixed anyway. And now back on topic...

There is a buzz going around the internet that this show is bad, so I've downloaded all six episodes today and watched them right away. I don't think this show is that bad. It has it's moments and a pretty good cast. It definitely needs fine-tuning, but for a new show it's OK.

If FOX doesn't screw with the timetable (like they always do) it does have a chance.

The Winner is a loser... a ratings free-fall.

Anyone who thinks this show is coming back next year is having serious delusions.

8:00 & 8:30 p.m.: A repeat of The Simpsons (4.4/7 HH rating, 6.89M viewers, 3.3/9 A18-49 rating) was followed by a new episode of The Winner (3.3/6 HH rating, 5.51M viewers, 2.7/7 A18-49 rating). The Winner was down heavily in its third week and without the benefit of a new episode of The Simpsons leading into it. The show was down 1.30M viewers, 19.5% among households and 21% among adults 18-49.

    Week-to-week numbers (The Winner):
    Households - 4.1/6 to 3.3/6
    Viewers - 6.81M to 5.51M
    Adults 18-49 - 3.4/9 to 2.7/7

9:00 & 9:30 p.m.: A repeat of Family Guy (4.6/7 HH rating, 7.02M viewers, 3.5/8 A18-49 rating) led into another new episode of The Winner (3.5/5 HH rating, 5.13M viewers, 2.5/6 A18-49 rating). Compared to the week prior, The Winner was down less severely than the previous hour’s episode, showing the most loss among adults 18-49 (-14%). It sure does seem like Fox is anxious to get rid of the series.

    Week-to-week numbers (The Winner):
    Households - 3.6/6 to 3.5/5
    Viewers - 5.64M to 5.13M
    Adults 18-49 - 2.9/7 to 2.5/6
