| Oh SH1T, plz tell me your kidding. I wish i had not read that now, that cant be the end of Omar, no way. Na, dont believe you man, lol. |
I don't believe it to be true. Omar is seen "walking" not limping into the store to by a pack of Newports. If his leg was still bothering him in ep. 7, then it should be still hampering him in ep 8 through ep 10.
But this is the wire!!!! The BEST SHOW ON TV!!!

| I too watched this sorry excuse for a episode last night on demand. As a loyal and die hard Wire fan, i believe the matter in which they killed Omar was a slap in the face. The Wire to me is more then a TV show but more of a huge inspiration for me as a inspiring writer. To kill a beloved character, in such a matter, as if he didnt matter, or was important to the show and its fans is appauling. Killed by Kenard? PLEASE! The moment i seen Omar drop to the floor, my heart did the same. Now im not nieve enough to say Omar was not going to die, he was going to die eventually, but killed by a kid, who isnt even worthy of being called a minor supporting character in the series sickens me. I thought it was a dream sequence in all honesty. The Wire will go down in history as one of the greatest dramas even seen through the silver screen that captivated the hearts of millions, black, white, rich and poor. Unfournatly, that 60 second scene severly damaged its repuatation has one of the provoking series of our time. If people thought that backlash from Stringer Bell being killed was bad, riots will erupt when the world knows of Omar's undercutting fate... |
