Decision, decisions- this episode is all about the decisions: the election; Namond's choice to hit the corner; Michael's mulling over his options between life as a Stansfield soldier or attending school and boxing with Cutty.moreless
Another great one. The election results come in, and Carcetti defeats Royce. In the flush of the victory celebration, Terri offers herself to Carcetti- who refuses her as she states "Maybe you have learned something after all". Omar gets picked up on the murder/robbery case. Namond hits the corner working for Bodie after Brianna informs him and his mom that there will be no more money coming from Avon. Herc is tricked by Marlo into trying to bust him, but has to let him go when he is found to be clean. Prez continues his kindness to Dukie as Colvin's "solitary" class is organized and has their first session. Cutty finds out his newly-found status as a lothario is the reason Spider has been avoiding him (Cutty got involved with Spider's mother). Randy tells about his part in leading Lex to be murdered in order to get out of trouble at school. Things are really heating up now...moreless
Carcetti responds to a campaign smear. Randy is accused of a serious transgression. Colvin's special class gets its first enlistees. ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
This show is one of the best shows on televison. Its portrayal of good and evil are great. This episode is pivitol for Randy, Carceti and Naymond (i.e. Naymond's family runs out of money so he gets a package from bodie and goes out on his own). Also some important things happen for Michael as he thinks about joining the Marlo crew. If you want quality tv and dont alreafy watch this show start because it is simply amazing.moreless
The prisoner who meets Omar says he is in for a "2255." A 2255 refers to a federal convict who is temporarily returned to his state for a re-hearing. David Simon also mentioned that this character was played by an actual prisoner who was in jail for just such a hearing and agreed to appear on the show.
