Speaking of promotions, Pearlman gets bumped up to head the Violent Crimes Unit cases. Bunk goes to bat for Omar, who he believes is being set up- which earns him the ire of his fellow detectives. Greggs solves the Braddock murder using good old-fashioned detective instincts. Prez unlocks a secret to reaching his students- and discovers some resources hidden away in a storage room in the school. Colvin realizes that his new group is going to be tougher to make headway with than he thought. And Carcetti starts to get a feel for his new job.
Again, nothing earth-shattering. But this show makes even the mundane, everyday stuff so enjoyable that you don't mind.moreless
