Shows the siege of Stalingrad between the advancing German armies and the Russians. The German armies in June of 1942 were in the Caucasus and the city of Stalingard was probably the most important battles of WWII, it was the turning point of the war on the eastern front. This episode shows the battle that cost nearly 2 million combined on both sides. The Russians encircled nearly 1/4 of a million German troops and at the end of the world only 6,000 would return to Germany.moreless
