The X-Effect

The X-Effect is a MTV reality-dating show that follows two ex-lovers as they reunite for a weekend to see if there are still sparks, all the while not knowing the current boyfriend and girlfriend is watching everything they do. MTV separately invites the ex-lovers along with their current significant others under the guise of a romantic weekend. Once the weekend begins, things change quickly as the current partners are â��sent homeâ�� and the exes are reunited. Deception abounds again as the new significant others come back to the hotel to watch everything their partners do with their ex. They must watch as past feelings are rekindled and their partnersâ�� fidelity is pushed to the breaking point. The exes get one more chance together to share how they really feel with passions enflamed for the weekend. At the end of the weekend, the exes learn that their current partners know everything that went down and they must face up to their actions and make a choice: to move on with their romantic lives with their current partner, or to resurrect the relationships of their past!
