    Milagro was fantastic.

    I always really loved:

    The Post-Modern Prometheus
    Bad Blood
    Inprobable
    X-Cops
    Ice
    Beyond the Sea
    Gethsemane

There are more, but I don't want to write a big long list.

    Paper Hearts, definitely Paper Hearts.

Just the whole concept of having some freak serial killer messing with Mulder's mind and making him think that his sister was not abducted as he thought but taken and killed by him was very good.

Others, Goldberg Variation oh!!! And Je Souhaite from season 7.

There are so many great episodes, but my favorite is and always has been "Jose Chung's From Outer Space." It's by far the funniest and most entertaining. "Arcadia" is another one that I love that's funny.

On reflection, I think I'd have to go with "Triangle", "The Unnatural" or maybe "El Mundo Gira".

I think 'Triangle' could fit in the best episode category because it was extraordinary when it comes to how it was filmed. The long shots, the cuts are amazing. As well as the kiss

Oh yeah Triangle was another good one. Also add One Breath, Leonard Betts and Never Again to that list.

One Breath was full of drama, not knowing what will happen to Scully and wondering if it was too much for Mulder that he was going to quit.

By the way, I loved watching TV back then when I didn't have internet and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen in the next episode. I say this because shows air with weeks or months of difference here in Mexico, so if I want to know something I read it or worse, download it.

There is nothing better than enjoy watching your favorite show sitting in front of the TV. Those were good days.

Totally agree with you, I hate the temptation of spoiling new episodes by hopping on wikipedia, etc. before they air. I keep doing that with Lost to see the guest stars and it's sucking a lot of the suspense out. =P

I remembered Folie a Deux and Monday being two other great eps I forgot to previously mention.

Field Trip (season 6) was my favorite, but I also really enjoyed "Jose Chung's from Outer Space" & "Quagmire" (season 3), "The Post-Modern Prometheus" & "Detour" (season 5), "Monday" (season 6), "Rush" and "All Things" (season 7)

I don't think "Paper Hearts" was an X-Files though. I love this episode, but I don't recall it being an actual X-File. It's been awhile since I seen it, so I could be wrong. I'm only saying this because I feel this thread should be based on X-Files (as in cases), not in episodes. Of course, I'm not as much as a dedicated fans as most are this forum probably are, so my words can be taking with a grain of salt.

As for my favorite, "Bad Blood" easily. One of the best episodes in television history in my opinion. I absolutely love it.
