    I saw that on Yahoo and laughed quietly to myself. I don't think the other people in the computer lab understood why. I don't believe any of the citizens of Arcadia actually had any children in that episode...though I haven't seen it for awhile and could be wrong.

    Maybe they're all too busy abiding by the rules to have kids? Or maybe there's a rule against them in the CC and R's?

    This is an excerpt from a MLIA post:

    Today, I was sitting in English class, listening to a girl doing an oral presentation on a Vampire book. She continued to say that apparently, in oldden day, if you threw a sack of rice or grains to a vampire, the vampire would impulsively start counting all the grains, giving the victim a chance to escape from the vampires clutches.

    When I read this I couldn't help but laugh. Thanks for trying to inform me of this MLIA, but thanks to Bad Blood I already know

    I just saw William B. Davis in something over the weekend. It ended before I could find out what it was, unfortunately, but I laughed at the fact that he was still the bad guy, and still talking cryptically. When he pulled out a cigar and asked the woman next to him if she minded, I snickered and my roommate thought I had lost my mind.

    I dissected a frog today and thought of Die Hand Die Verletzt.


    And I just took a quiz on Sporcle.com about the peoplewho were punished in Greek mythology or something like that. One of the answers was Prometheus,one was Medusa and another was Cassandra. The "hint" for her was: "Able to see the future, but cursed that nobody would believe her", which made me think of Cassandra Spender.

    Fringe this past week did a whole homage to X-files as far as I am concerned it was out in Washington state, dark, dreary, flashlights out. Even mention I do read UFO/Goverment conspiracies books. The only thing they didn't say was Mulder or Scully for crying out loud. OH and did I mention the episode was EXCELLENT. It was anyone who ever liked X-files should definitely be giving Fringe a try.

    I have only recently started watching X Files but already I am obsessed (its times like these that make me wish i was born just that little bit earlier) anyway yeh, I have already started making random connections with the show: like whenever I see a potato - although it doesn't necessarilyhave to me small - or like, someone else has already said: a cockroach. But I suppose it just goes to show how great a show it was!

    The other day I passed a sign on the road that said DETOUR and I automatically thought of the episode. Then in my yard I noticed some white toadstools growing and I thought of the episode Field Trip with the white mushrooms.

    I was standing in the college counseling office the other day and I looked at the name plate on the desk. The last name on it was Mulder!!!

    I was assigned a story in one of my Lit classes called "The Sagebrush Kid." It's about a huge, man-eating sagebrush plant in Wyoming. The whole time, all I could think was "Scully, this is an X-File. I just have a hunch."

    They have big buckets of sunflower seeds at Costco. When I saw them, I ran over, picked one up, and said "look what Mulder's getting for Christmas."


    It's nice to get my Christmas shopping done early for once!
