EDIT
Ep. #8900
AIRED:
Daniel thanks Kevin for putting Cassie's picture up in Crimson Lights, and then talks about how hard it is to deal with the accident even after all the time has passed. Gloria refuses to remain anonymous when giving money to the charity. Nick tells Phyllis that he didn't visit Cassie's grave because he doesn't remember the night of the accident, and then tells her he prefers to go to the gym. Victor and Nikki share a sad talk about Cassie that leads into a short talk about what happened to their marriage. Just as Victor takes Nikki's hand, David interrupts them. Paul finds David's ex-wife Elizabeth in Bermuda. Danny is surprised by Phyllis' over-protectiveness with Daniel, and she reminds him that she is no longer a groupie. Jack and Sharon are informed by Al Franklin that an anonymous donor gave away 2 million dollars to the Jack's Foundation and Cassie's Challenge, not realizing that it was Gloria. David talks to Walter again. Adam tries to excuse his business mistake, but Victor refuses to talk about it, and then decides to reduce his workload at Newman. Amber and Daniel share an intimate conversation. Gina and Danny meet up. Gloria receives her diamonds, as Alistair approaches. Nick is in a car accident while driving to the Club.moreless

  • What happened to us?

In another Cassie-related episodes, more drama brings the series more close to what it used to be. I actually enjoyed watching every scene. But it will take a lot of time for me to forget some stories that happened during the last two month. This episode was just amazing. And the cliffhanger was also great.

To start off, Gloria once again showed sings of being human, while discussing about Cassie with Jana. But then later she went back to being the old Gloria while doing foreplay with hew diamonds. And that snarky Alistair was going around, obviously plotting something. I'm slowly getting tired of this storyline. I find Gloria quite enjoyable from time to time, but I really don't know what to say about this. Alistair was also great, a good comical relief, but now that they are turning him into something else, I don't find him that interesting. Jeffrey does the role better. I loved Kevin's comments on Gloria's decisions. His jokes always crack me up.

I understand everything that's going on with Nick and Sharon, but for some reason I constantly feel like Phyllis is out of character. It isn't the same person she used to be (thank you, Latham). She is more boring, and it seems like she doesn't enjoy her scenes as she used to. If only they'd go back and write a good storyline to break up Nick and Phyllis. That'd be okay. And a lot of drama potential. Nick's accident at the end of the episode will probably bring a lot of drama in the upcoming episodes, and I already know he'll get his memory back, which will be amazing. Noah was also okay in this episode. I also loved that we got to see Gina with Danny.

The favorite part of the episode was the short scene with Victor and Nikki. When he asked Nikki "What happened to us?" I wondered if there would ever be a chance for these two to get back. I want David out of the picture. He's boring. He's had an okay storyline, but he overstayed his welcome. Come on Paul, make him disappear from our screens already. And then bring on some Nikki and Paul action, mixed with Victor's jealousy. This could be another great storyline.moreless

    • Nikki (at Cassie's gravesite): Oh, Cassie, my special girl. Your family's so different now. Your dad's... married to Phyllis. He loves her. Your mom is... married to Jack. It's all... mixed up. And you have a little sister. Summer. Noah--well, he's not little anymore. So many things have changed, my baby. But one thing will always be the same. We love you so very much. Always.

    • Gloria: You know, why on earth you hate me so much I have no idea. All I did was fall in love with your father and he fell in love with me. But you just couldn't accept it, could you, Jack?
Jack: Excuse me, I've already seen this movie.
Gloria: And you refused to let us enjoy what little time we had together. And then after your father passed away, you just kept on going. Kicked me out of my home, threw my clothes out in garbage bags--
      Jack: Not today, Gloria.
Gloria: You know something, Jack Abbott? I lay at your feet every bit of misfortune, every bit of bad karma I've ever had.
Jack: You have half of my father's money, all of William Bardwell's money, and yet I gotta stand here and listen to you bellyache? Meanwhile, there are people, like my wife, who are suffering loss-- tragic loss. There are people thrashing about in the water all around you, Gloria, while you swim in your own self-pity. It would be comic, if it weren't so damn sad.

    • (After winning a bet)
Kevin: Coffee on the house for everybody! (runs into Jack) Except for this guy.

    • Gloria: This will wait till you get back, Keith.
Keith: You set the schedule yourself, Mrs. Bardwell.
Kevin-: That's gotta hurt, Mom. Hoisted on your own petard.
